Game Data: Chess games played, moves, results, ELO ratings, and tournament participation.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the app's services (matchmaking, tournaments, friend system)
To calculate and display your ELO rating and game history
To send in-app notifications about friend requests and game challenges

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored using Firebase (Google) services, including Firestore for real-time data and Firebase Authentication for account management. Local game history and puzzles are stored on your device only.

All data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, real-time database, cloud messaging
Google Sign-In: Optional account authentication
Google Gemini AI: Optional position explanations (only when you request an explanation)
Lichess API: Optional opening database lookups (only when online)

5. Data You Control

You can:

Use the app as a guest without creating an account
Appear offline to other users using the privacy toggle in settings
Delete your account at any time from within the app settings
Request deletion of all your data by contacting us

6. Children's Privacy

EndGame Eye is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
